Content Clusters

Interlinked pages centered around a pillar page, showing deep expertise in a topic like dementia care.

Content clusters (or Topic Clusters) are a strategic way of organizing your website's content to signal deep expertise to Google. Instead of writing isolated blog posts, you create a central "Pillar Page" (e.g., a comprehensive guide to Elderly Care and Support) and several "Sub-pages" that address specific niche questions (e.g., "How to pay for care," "Recognising early signs of dementia," "What is respite care?").

All the sub-pages link back to the pillar page, and the pillar page links to the sub-pages. This interlinking tells Google that your site isn't just touching on a subject, but is a comprehensive authority on it. For care providers, clustering content around specific specialisms—like Dementia, Palliative Care, or Assisted Living—is the fastest way to build the topical authority needed to rank for those competitive search terms.
