Mobile Optimisation

Ensuring your site works perfectly on mobile devices, where the majority of care searches occur.

Mobile optimisation is the process of ensuring that visitors who access your site from smartphones and tablets have a top-tier experience. This goes beyond just "shrinking" the desktop site; it involves easy navigation, finger-friendly buttons (at least 44px), readable fonts without zooming, and fast loading speeds over mobile data connections.

Google now uses "Mobile-First Indexing," meaning it primarily uses the mobile version of your site to determine your rankings. For care homes, this is critical because families often search for care in urgent or "gap" moments—while traveling, in a hospital waiting room, or during a short break at work. A site that is difficult to use on mobile isn't just a minor annoyance; it’s a significant barrier to enquiry that directly damages your search visibility.
